The Producers

Ellen Lupton's 2003 essay "The Producers" influenced certain perceptions of graphic design as a field. Essentially, values and imperatives were called into question and a call-to-action was issued for designers to assume more physical, intellectual, and economic agency over their work.

This book’s text is a combination of Lupton's original essay and my own notes on her ideas.
