Mind Body
Petcoke Gallery aims to explore ways to experience care amidst the current environmental crises (and all crises.)
Mind Body is a space of non-commodified relaxation. It is an exhibition of video and sound art that I exhibited in March 2019. During the month, a calendar of events facilitated convening around issues of self-care.
Petcoke’s inaugural exhibition occurred in Southwest Detroit where residents and activists are fighting their industrial neighbors for clean air. 'Petcoke' refers to a hazardous byproduct of the oil refining process.
